New York City low-wage workers are taking their campaign for better wages and working conditions to the city’s commercial district. It comes on the heels of a fast food strike/walkout demanding better pay and working conditions. Cara Noel is with United New York.

[Cara Noel]: “We’re gathering with workers from all different industries. We’ll have airport workers and car wash workers and supermarket workers and even fast food workers joining together saying enough is enough. These workers are uniting to stress the need for good jobs, fair wages, respect and just the ability to live and take care of their families.”
