Auto Workers Await Bush Auto Industry Loans - 12/17/08

Detroit Three auto workers are still waiting for outgoing President Bush to make a decision on extending loans to the industry. The Bush White House says it’s working “expeditiously” and “all options are on the table” to try to provide assistance to the domestic auto industry. U.S. Senator Carl Levin says he expects GM will get $8 billion and Chrysler $7 billion under the Bush plan.
