Under a proposal by Illinois House, Speaker Michael Madigan 3000 workers in that state could lose their jobs due to the indiscretions of former Governor Rod Blagoevich. The positions being targeted are held by individuals appointed by the ousted Governor and Madigan would offer them the opportunity to undergo a review process and if they pass the new Illinois Governor Pat Quinn could reappoint them.
