Description:
In Chicago at the AFl-CIO convention Secretary Treasurer Rich Trumka says the federation will adjust to the departure of the SEIU and Teamsters by adopting a strategy to be financially solvent and united.
He says a strong labor movement is more than just a few unions acting on their own. Trumka says the Change To Win Coalition never changed their original position on reform so reaching out to negotiate was impossible.
