Comments to the AFL-CIO Chicago convention delegates from John Gage,President of the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) regarding the attempted gutting of collective bargaining rights for tens of thousands of govedrnment employees in the Department of Homeland Security and other agencies. Gage is appealing for national support to fight new personnel rules that will essentially take away collective bargaining rights for these workers.
