Workers Rally At A Rite Aid Shareholders Meeting In New York City - 06/26/09

 Printer-friendly version Send to friendA short rally was held in New York City on Thursday in advance of a Rite Aid shareholders meeting. In March of 2008, Rite Aid workers in Lancaster, California voted in favor of representation by the International Longshore and Warehouse Union. According to the union, the company has hired union busting firms to help stall negotiations and decertify the union. The company says they have been bargaining in good faith.
