Economic Report: Hispanic women in U.S. lag in education and earningsBy Doug Cunningham According to the National Council of La Raza's report "Hispanic Women At Work" Hispanic women in the U.S. have lower annual incomes than other working women and dramatically lower educations on average. Median income for Latinas with bachelor's degrees is $38,000 compared to nearly $42,000 for non Hispanic white women. Hispanic women are nearly twice as likely as white women to be unemployed.
