Economic Report:

With the year coming to a close which jobs were the hardest hit when it comes to unemployment? The construction industry was hit the hardest with carpenters, construction workers, and architects all losing work. In early 2009 jobs in that industry fell by 14 percent. Architects alone saw a decline of 17.8 percent in their field. Carpenters followed that decline with a 17 percent decrease in jobs. The good news is both of those jobs are projected to see substantial growth over the next couple of years.
