Picketers at LAX seek equal pay from city - 11/29/05By Jesse Russell Picketers at Los Angeles International Airport caused little disruption on Sunday. Members of the Engineers and Architects Association are seeking a new contract with the city and nearly 700 of them work at the airport. They have been without a contract for more than 17 months and are demanding a pay raise of 3.25 percent per year for five years. The demand reflects a raise recently given to members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. California | Los Angeles | Posted 11/28/2005 - 5:31pm | 824 reads
