Delta has fired back at pilots who have objected to proposed management severance packages on the backs of massive wage and benefit cuts for pilots. Delta said in a bankruptcy court filing that "management attended to the rest of the company first and itself last." If applied, the cost of the severance package to the airline could be anywhere from $3 million to $14 million dollars. The airline is seeking $325 million in concessions from its 6,000 pilots.
