In New York City today the Laborer’s International Union and the national Day Labor Organizing Committee are meeting to discuss ways to collaborate to fight for immigrant rights and pro-immigrant legislation. Laborers President Terry O’Sullivan will be meeting with Pablo Alvarado, National Director of the Day Labor Organizing Committee to talk about common ground between the two labor organizations.
