Here's today's Dow Bob Report:

The Department of Labor plans to no longer require employers to report data on female and male employees after July 2005. The Bureau of Labor Statistics cites a lack of interest in those statistics as the primary reason for dropping them. A letter endorsed by both republican and democratic congresswomen is currently circulating Congress, asking that the bureau reconsider. There is concern that without the information, a distorted picture of employment changes may result.
