Starbucks is being sued for discrimination after a woman with psychiatric problems was fired. The lawsuit is being brought by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunities Commission who investigated the case for a year before determining that the company had violated the Americans with Disabilities Act. Lawyers for the EEOC are seeking $40,000 in lost wages and up to $300,000 in punitive damages.
