It’s official. With all votes in, Jim Hoffa has beat Tom Leedham 65 to 35 percent for another five years as Teamsters General President. Hoffa had claimed victory over the weekend as the votes were being counted. Leedham congratulated the Hoffa Slate on their victory and wished them success as they take on the responsibility of rebuilding Teamster power. Hoffa says the new Congress will make it easier to strengthen organized labor.
