Two of the largest mall owners in the country have formed a partnership with the Service Employees International Union. Simon Properties and Westfield Properties have joined with the union to help lift workers at their combined 373 malls into better paying jobs with decent benefits. The two companies have said they will support cleaning contractors that support this mission and provide higher wages as well as health benefits.
