Members of the United Mine Workers of America will be voting on a new tentative five-year deal with the Bituminous Coal Operators Association on December 21st. UMWA President Cecil Roberts says Congressional passage of the Abandoned Mine Lands Fund reauthorization helping to fund retiree health plans helped immensely in getting the contract done.
