When it comes to infant mortality and life expectancy it definitely is NOT better livin’ in the USA. Of the top twenty industrialized nations the U.S. ranks 21st in infant mortality and 16th in average life expectancy. That’s despite the fact that the U.S. spends 40 percent more per capita on health care than any other country on earth. Of the top ten industrial nations Americans are the least satisfied with their health care system while Canadians are the most satisfied. With approximately 40 million Americans living without health insurance, a full 33 percent of Hispanics don’t have it while 21 percent of African-Americans are uninsured.
