Economic Report:

By Jesse Russell

Forty three percent of U.S. workers have a hard time understanding what their health plan covers. That’s the finding of a survey of 2100 workers with health insurance. Less than half are “comfortable explaining health benefit terms such as co-pay or deductible.” Seven out of ten employees prefer receiving communication on benefits in print. Only 52 percent of workers read all of the materials during health care enrollment.
