Economic Report: Most Workers Don't Understand Their Health Insurance - 07/10/07Economic Report: By Jesse Russell Forty three percent of U.S. workers have a hard time understanding what their health plan covers. That’s the finding of a survey of 2100 workers with health insurance. Less than half are “comfortable explaining health benefit terms such as co-pay or deductible.” Seven out of ten employees prefer receiving communication on benefits in print. Only 52 percent of workers read all of the materials during health care enrollment. Economic Report | Posted 07/09/2007 - 6:00pm | 575 reads
