Chicago Hospital Workers Struggle For Better Than $9 An Hour - 10/10/07Submitted by Doug Cunningham on October 9, 2007 - 5:21pm
By Jesse Russell After contract talks hit a stalemate this weekend, nursing assistants, x-ray techs, food service workers, and more at Chicago’s Roseland Community Hospital walked off the job for one day. Negotiations began 19 months ago. No word on when they’ll continue. |
