The UAW says its new contract with GM was approved by rank and file workers nationwide. The vote was 66 percent in favor among production workers and 64 percent in favor among skilled trades workers. The UAW says the deal brings unprecedented job security, keeps comprehensive health care for active workers, and delivers substantial economic gains - $13,000 over the four-year contract – to active workers.
