Whispers of the word “strike” has Tinseltown on its toes. Negotiations fired up again on Tuesday between screenwriters and studio executives, and reports from the writers' camp suggest that things are not going as well as they would like. At the heart of the matter is how much writers should earn in “residuals”; that is, media that carries their work beyond the television and movie screen.
