AFL-CIO Pleased With Verizon Board’s Adoption Of "Say On Pay" - 11/02/07

The AFL-CIO is happy with a decision by the Verizon Board of Directors Thursday to adopt a proposal that gives shareholders a voice on executive compensation. AFL-CIO Secretary Treasurer Rich Trumka says it’s a strong victory for investors. The proposal will be implemented starting in 2009.
