Economic Report: Teens Face Tough Summer Job MarketTeens hoping to make some extra money during the summer break may be looking at a tough job market. According to a study by the website snagajob.com, 31 percent of those polled said they didn’t plan on taking on new seasonal workers over the summer. There has been a large growth of older workers going for jobs that would traditionally be held by a teen. And if teens really want an open job, the better start looking for it now; 76 percent of those surveyed said they expected to fill the positions by May. Posted 03/23/2008 - 2:28pm | 122 reads
