Economic Report: Existing Home Sales Unexpectedly Tick Up - 03/25/08Economic Report: Some good news for the economy? It depends on what side of the fence you are on, the buying or the selling side. Sales of existing homes made an unexpected increase in February, suggesting some buyers are taking advantage of the heavy price cuts happening around the country. Sales of existing homes jumped by 2.9 percent in February; that's the biggest increase in a year.
