Sony Ericsson to Slash 2000 JobsMobile phone producer, Sony Ericsson announced this weekend that it would be slashing 2000 jobs worldwide as sales slowed in the last quarter. The job cuts will be across the board and not focused on any one department. Sony Ericsson is currently ranked fifth globally among cell phone producers and has been dealing with delays in developing new products that can be brought to market.
