Mall of America Starbucks Workers Join The IWW - 07/23/08

 Printer-friendly version Send to friendThe nation’s largest mall, Minnesota’s Mall of America, now has one of the county’s first organized Starbucks coffee shops. Workers there are members of the Industrial Workers of the World. On Monday, they stopped work to protest the closing of 600 stores nationwide and the loss of more than 12,000 jobs. The IWW also represents workers in New York City and Chicago.
