Are programs supplied by employers aimed at helping employees get control of their health being utilized? Not very often according to a recent report that only four percent of employees took part in smoking cessation programs and only 5 percent joined weight loss or control programs. The study was conducted by Hewitt Associates and also found that programs directed at disease management were utilized by only 10 percent of eligible employees.
