Iraq Vets Against The War To “Occupy” San Francisco’s Union Square Friday - 11/27/08

By Doug Cunningham

On Friday Iraq veterans Against The War will occupy San Francisco’s Union Square, using street theater to re-enact how the U.S. military treats the people of Iraq under the occupation. Eddie Falcone is an Iraq veteran against the war who will be part of Friday’s action.

[Falcone]: “The plan is to show the American publlc what an occupation exactly looks like and what it feels like to be in an occupied country."

The Iraq Vets Against The War will serve meals to the homeless at San Francisco’s U.N. Plaza after the antiwar action.
